Beverly Potter

Total shoulder replacement (right shoulder)
The Joint Replacement Center at Unity Hospital

Beverly was a school bus driver and suffered from arthritis. When she hurt her arm back in 2009, she realized that she was in trouble, and went to see Mark J. Stenclik, M.D. at the Joint Replacement Center at Unity Hospital.

She went in for a total shoulder replacement, and had an outstanding experience. “I can’t say enough about the doctors, the nursing staff, and the physical therapy staff – they did an excellent job! Everyone went above and beyond for me.”

“Everything went perfect – I even had a new socket put in. The care I received was off the charts – 100 percent! My night nurse was especially wonderful. I’ve never seen anybody as sweet and sincere as she was. It wasn’t just a job to her.”

Beverly was very happy with her experience in the hospital and afterward. She went home the day after her surgery because everything had gone so well. She even got the green light to go back to work a few weeks after her surgery – and finish out the school year!

In September 2009, Beverly moved to Pahrump, Nevada – but she still talks about her experience at Unity. “I was just talking about Unity this morning, and bragging about Dr. Stenclik. I tell everyone if anything happens to my left shoulder, I’m hopping on a plane to fly back east and have my surgery with Dr. Stenclik at Unity!”
