  Sandra MacWilliam
Executive Vice President, Unity Health System
Center for Aging Services

Sandra MacWilliam is responsible for the leadership and oversight of Unity’s Center for Aging Services. She joined Unity Health System in 1992. Aging services include senior housing, home & community based services, and the nursing facilities.

Mrs. MacWilliam holds a master’s degree in Health System Management from Union College in Schenectady and a bachelor of science in biology from Southern Illinois University. She is a member of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aged, a recipient of the AAHSA Excellence in Leadership Award 2005, a member of the New York Association of Homes and Services for the Aged, a recipient of the NYAHSA Lawrence E. Larson Award 2003, a Certified Aging Services Professional Fellow, and current chair of the Healthcare Association of New York State Continuing Care Services Committee. She is a founding member of the AAHSA Quality First and Leadership Circle Committees and serves on the NYAHSA Award Committee and the Nursing Home Cabinet. She is a New York State licensed nursing home administrator.
