Inpatient Mental Health Services
Unity St. Mary's Campus
89 Genesee Street
Rochester, NY 14611
When a psychiatric illness requires someone you love to be hospitalized, you want the highest quality, most compassionate care available. At the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit, you will find an environment conducive to empathy, healing, and respect. We provide a full range of care for adults of all ages. Through a proper balance of structure, treatment, and safe discharge planning, our patients work toward a successful return to the community.
Each patient is admitted under the care of an attending psychiatrist and is assigned to a case management team. This team manages the patient's care from admission to discharge including linkage with outpatient services and community resources. Patients are involved in highly intensive group-focused programming designed to treat their psychiatric illness.
New - Family Support Night
Join us for this informal group for the family and friends of patients of Unity Mental Health's Inpatient Psychiatric Unit and Psychiatric Emergency Department. We'll help to provide emotional support, answer questions about mental illness, and share information about community resources.
Light refreshments will be served.
* A representative from the National Alliance on Mental Illness - Rochester (NAMI) will discuss services and supports available through the organization on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
