Manage Your Weight and Your Heart Health

Unity Cardiac Rehabilitation offers a special Preventive Exercise Program (P.E.P.) to help you achieve and maintain a healthy weight. Whether you’re recovering from a cardiac event or simply trying to prevent one, we can design a program for you!

P.E.P. includes ongoing professional exercise guidance and educational classes. Exercise promotes well-being and longevity, and its benefits include:
• Improving fitness/health
• Strengthening muscles
• Lowering blood sugar
• Lowering blood pressure
• Promoting weight loss
• Reducing body fat
• Increasing metabolism
• Helping with stress management

Personal training
Unity also offers a personal  training option. Your consultation will include a discussion of your brief medical history, girth measurements or body composition and weight, exercise goals, and tailored exercise programming. This is a “one-on-one” consultation that allows for personalized attention.
