Fitness Classes

Are you ready to take your workout routine to the next level?

Rochester Regional Health System & Thrive are very proud to announce that Zumba as well as Les Mills' fitness classes are coming soon to the Unity Park Ridge Campus! Our first, FREE session for Rochester Regional Health System employees runs from November 4th through January 8th!

Yoga classes will continue from Nov. 3- Dec 19. Registration is $15 for the holiday session.

 * Energy Enhancer yoga classes do not require registration. The classes are only 20 minutes long and incorporate a variety of techniques: stretching, deep breathing, meditation, physical movement, and self-massage.


 
Class Descriptions

Zumba
is more dance party than exercise class, which is why people stick with it.  And it’s effective. The mixture of fast and slow rhythms with easy-to-follow moves creates the perfect foundation for interval training. You get a great aerobic workout while toning your legs, abs, glutes and arms.
 
Zumba classes will be held at the Park Ridge Chemical Dependency Activities Room from 5:15 PM - 6:15 PM on Thursdays on the following dates:

November 6, 13 & 20
December 4, 11 & 18
January 8

Les Mills' is a world-renowned group exercise program that guides you through a motivating workout set to chart-topping music. Thrive is bringing two of Les Mills' most popular classes to our employees: BODYSTEP™ and BODYPUMP™.
 
 
BODYSTEP™ is the energizing step workout that gives you a high intensity, high calorie burn. Using a height-adjustable step and simple movements on, over and around the step you get huge motivation from fun music and approachable instructors.
 
 
BODYSTEP™ classes will be held at the Park Ridge Chemical Dependency Activities Room from 5:15 PM - 6:15 PM on Tuesdays on the following dates:

Try a Yoga Class

Senior Systems Analyst Marie Wolfanger was initially intimidated about taking Yoga but she was motivated to increase her flexibility and get rid of some nagging aches. She started taking the Beginning Yoga class in September and four months later she wants to encourage others to find what she has found.  She said, "I am as inflexible as they come, but I continue to see noticeable improvements in my posture and range of motion."
