Construction of the Unity at Brockport medical office complex at the intersection of Routes 31 and 19 has begun.

The building-- owned by Gallina Development and leased by Unity Health System-- will provide expanded space for Unity's Ob/Gyn practice and ACM Medical Laboratory patient service center, which have been located in Brockport for over 10 years and will be relocated to the new site. Additionally, the building will provide space to open a new primary care practice and specialty services requested by private physicians in Brockport, such as infectious disease, endocrinology and diabetes care, vascular services, pulmonology, neurology, and physical therapy, making these services closer to home in a modern, state-of-the-art facility for Brockport area currently served by Unity. .

Construction is expected to be completed in June 2012.
