Rochester, N.Y. (March 8, 2011) - Dr. Alice Hoagland, director of the Insomnia Clinic, Unity Sleep Disorders Center, will discuss “Women and Sleep Disturbances Across the Generations” on Tuesday, March 8, from 7 – 9 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center, 1200 Edgewood Avenue, Board/Conference room.

She will speak about normal developmental changes in sleep, with a focus on specific events unique to women, including pregnancy, postpartum, menopause, fibromyalgia, and depression. Dr. Hoagland will also discuss behavioral and drug treatment for the sleep disturbances.
