Unity Health System to Help High School Seniors
Interested in Nursing
Rochester, N.Y. (January 13, 2011) – High school seniors enrolled in six school districts in Monroe County, who are intending to pursue an R.N. degree, are eligible for $1,000 through Unity Health System’s Nursing Scholarship Program. A total of six scholarships, $1,000 each, will be awarded to applicants who are graduating in 2011 and have been accepted into a four-year nursing program.
One scholarship will be awarded to a student from each of the following Monroe County school districts:

The application requires candidates to submit two letters of reference and a 100-word essay explaining why they want to become a nurse, and must be received by March 1. Interested applicants are required to complete the scholarship application online at:
