Each year, on or around the first day of winter and the longest day of the year, the National Coalition for the Homeless sponsors National Homeless Persons’ Memorial Day. The day, which started in 1990, is meant to bring attention to homelessness, and remember those who have died from exposure to the elements, unsafe conditions, or violence.
*Media coverage of this event is welcomed.* Parking is permitted in the parking garage at Unity St. Mary’s campus. A corporate communications team member will meet reporters and photographers in the main lobby.
