Park RidgeAuxiliary Donations Exceed $4.8 Million
Volunteer Organization Affiliated with Unity Health System Reports Successful Year and 2010 Executive Committee and Board Members
Park Ridge Auxiliary is an organization comprised of approximately 300 volunteers dedicated to raising philanthropic support for Unity Health System through a variety of projects. Since its inception, the organization has donated over $4,874,938 to the System, and announced its 2009 total of a generous $168,000!
At its annual meeting, the Auxiliary announced its 2010 Executive Committee and Board Members:

Founded in 1929, the Park Ridge Auxiliary celebrated its 80th anniversary last year. The organization raises money through various efforts, including fundraisers such as “Lights of Love”; gifts shop sales at Unity Hospital, and Tel-Pho, the auxiliary-run program that provides television and phone service to patients. Its major contributions include funding for the Unity Hospital’s Emergency Center, Women’s Health Services, and Special Care Unit; Edna Tina Wilson Living Center, and the Park Ridge Child Care Center, among others.
Unity Health System is a 681-bed health care network serving the city of Rochester and western Monroe County. Services include acute care, psychiatry and behavioral health, physical medicine and rehabilitation, primary care and family medicine, continuing care, housing, laboratory, occupational health, and child care services.
