Hi Anonymous,
Signs that you may have diabetes, elevated blood sugars, may include increased thirst or hunger, more frequent urination, feeling more tired than usual, blurry vision, numbness in your fingers or toes, a rash and/or cuts or sores that take longer than usual to heal. Sometimes people do not experience symptoms, but instead find out from routine blood work which shows an elevated fasting blood sugar or A1c test (blood test that checks your average blood sugar over the past 2-3 months). You may be at higher risk for developing diabetes if you have family members with diabetes. If you are concerned about developing diabetes it is a good idea to talk with your doctor. You may also take the Diabetes Risk Test provided by the American Diabetes Association: http://bit.ly/1bQd2r2 to see if you are at risk for type 2 diabetes.
