All full-time and part-time employees regularly scheduled to work at least 20 hours per week are eligible to enroll in Unity’s benefits program. You can also enroll your spouse, domestic partner and children in many of these plans.

There is no one size fits all benefits package, which is why we provide a range of options. It is important that you take the time both as a new hire and on an annual basis to review your choices and make sure you select the plan that best meets your health and financial needs.

Enrolling in Benefits
You can enroll in or change your benefits at the following times:
1. New Enrollment: As a new employee, or newly eligible employee, you may enroll in coverage on the first day of the month following or concurrent with your hire or change date. You must enroll within 30 days of the date you become eligible.
2. Open Enrollment
: Each fall during the annual Open Enrollment period. (Changes go into effect on January 1 of the following year.)
3. Change in Status
: During the year in the event of a change in your job status (full-time /part-time) or in your personal or family status, known as a “qualifying event.”
