Enrolling in Benefits
You can enroll in or change your benefits at the following times:
1. New Enrollment: As a new employee, or newly eligible employee, you may enroll in coverage on the first day of the month following your hire or status change date. You must enroll within 30 days of the date you become eligible.
2. Open Enrollment
: Each fall during the annual Open Enrollment period. (Changes take effect on January 1 of the following year.)
3. Change in Status
: During the year in the event of a change in your job status (full-time /part-time) or in your personal or family status, known as a “qualifying event.”
